Overview
Crops & Herd runs the whole farm from one place — fields, crops, livestock, tasks, labour, stock and accounts — on a phone that keeps working when the signal does not.
It was built first for farmers in Zimbabwe and Kenya, where a herd's health record and a season's accounts have to survive an unreliable network. Every screen works offline; changes queue on the device and reconcile when the connection returns.
Livestock is treated as seriously as the ledger: five-generation lineage, inbreeding warnings before a mating is recorded, vaccination schedules, quarantine protocols, feed formulation and daily production — all feeding the same financial record, so the animal side and the money side never tell two different stories.
What it does
Offline-first
Every screen keeps working without a signal. Work queues on the device and syncs when the network returns.
Livestock intelligence
Lineage and genetics, inbreeding checks, health and vaccination records, feed planning, pasture rotation and production tracking.
Real farm accounting
Stock movements, receivables, payables and documents post to a proper double-entry ledger — and reverse correctly when a record changes.
Built for a team
Farm workers get their own phone-and-PIN portal for assigned tasks, isolated from the owner's financial data.
